As design and engineering are at the very heart of everything we do, our design team are here to help you every step of the way, ensuring our funky looking blinds or internal sail shades meet your exacting requirements. When you contact Shade Sculpture we will run through some standardised questions to ascertain your needs and provide you with practical advice and tips which could help improve on your design.
Installation & Fittings
Depending upon requirements, we are able to offer engineered fitting options which minimise the intrusion into interior walls or ceilings cavities. We also are able to provide you with easy self installed solutions or a qualified installation team.
Technical Specifications
Shade Sculpture only uses the best fabrics in the industry, ensuring our products fully comply with EU fire retardant construction codes such as BS 5867 part 2 1980 type B (UK) & B1 (Germany and Europe). Being inherently fire retardant means our fabrics are fire retardant for life, regardless of how many times they are cleaned or put through a washing machine. Being 95% manufactured from recycled plastic bottles our stretched fabrics are also amongst the most environmentally friendly / neutral fabrics on the market; meaning we don’t impact on dwindling natural resources.
Our sail shades and blinds not only look amazing but dramatically reduce ‘by up to 64%’ the harmful UVB/UVA rays which damage your skin and fade furnishings. ‘These harmful rays are not only present in the summer months but throughout the year’.
All our products are professionally stitched with rolled edges providing the best finishing possible.
