We are delighted to publically announce that, former CEO and head of international Tensile Membrane Company Hightex Group, Mr Frank Molter has joined the ranks of Shade Sculpture in the capacity of Group Commercial Director.
Frank has worked at director level within the Tensile Architectural Membrane Industry for over 11-years, gifting him with unparalleled experience and practical knowledge of large scale tensile membrane projects. With this in mind, Frank will be in charge of overseeing all large scale projects and joint ventures on behalf of Shade Sculpture Group. Frank will also be in charge of assisting in the development of Shade Sculpture’s operational services, both nationally and internationally.

Tensile Membrane Career
Frank’s Tensile Membrane Career has seen him progress rapidly to become one of the most respected names within the industry. In 2008 Frank was made COO of Hightex Group, where he made numerous operational changes that dramatically increased and improved the group’s operational capacity. As a result in 2010 he was overwhelmingly voted in by the board to replace and become the new CEO of Hightex Group where he made further industry advancements.
During his time at Hightex frank introduced the cable net structures in its scope of work, allowing them to rapidly become one for main competitors in Sports Stadiums & Arena Structures. This also allowed them to win 3 out of 7 of the Brazilian World Cup Stadium Tensile Membrane projects.
Whilst employed at Hightex Frank oversaw and realised many internationally renowned tensile membrane architecture projects, including:
- The Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro
- The Beira Rio Stadium in Porto Alegre (WC 2014)
- The Olympic Stadium in Kiev and the National Stadium Warsaw (EC 2012)
- The Greenpoint Stadium in Cape Town
- The Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg (WC 2010)
In addition, Frank also oversaw The Membrane Roof for the Centre Court in Wimbledon and the first and only retractable and inflatable membrane roof at the BC Place Stadium in Vancouver.
